D.F.C. F.A.Q.s

What does D.F.C. stand for?

D.F.C. stands for desert, forest, coast. The idea came from our travels across the many different landscapes that the west coast has to offer. Inspired by these different environments, we wanted to create fragrances in a candle that instantly transported us back to those weekend road trips. Hopefully, we inspire you to make memories on your own travels as well!

What goes into a D.F.C. Candle?

All of our candles are made with 100% domestically-grown sustainable soy wax, cotton core wicks, and high-end natural and man-made fragrances designed to capture the essence of being outdoors.

Are your ingredients or products tested on animals?

No. All of our ingredients are vegan, cruelty-free and never tested on animals.

Do your products contain phthalates?

No. All of our ingredients are phthalate-free.

Are the candle containers recyclable/reusable?

Yes. We definitely encourage recycling and reusing the glass jars. We highly recommend removing excess wax from your jar using a double-boiler on a stove to melt the wax and then carefully wipe clean with a cloth. The double-boiler method will prevent scorching the container. A slight boil will work fine as a rolling boil could damage the glass.

DO NOT place colored glasses in the microwave or dishwasher.
